2025 Ultimate Colombia Birding Photography Tour
Join Cindy and embark on an extraordinary 17-day birding extravaganza photographing the incredible diversity of birds in Colombia. Colombia boasts over 1900 species of birds found in diverse habitats which makes for unparalleled and mind-blowing photographic opportunities.
You will return home with images of hundreds and hundreds of species, ranging from Tinamous, Wood-Quail, and a dozen Antpittas, to Toucan Barbet, Andean Cock-of-the-Rock, dozens of tanagers, and more than 50 species of hummingbirds. The checklist for birds possible on your tour will exceed 600 species. The tour will range in elevation from 11,500' in the Eastern Andes, and 13,500 in the Central Andes above tree line, down through several sites in Elfin, Temperate, and montane cloud forests all the way down to Foothill rainforest at 3,600 near Cali. The accommodations range from nicely-appointed metropolitan Hotel in Bogota, to local-style country resort in Jardin, to remote but very clean and homey family lodge at Cerro Montezuma.
Cindy is partnering with Rockjumper Tours for this workshop who will handle your deposit and final payment and can also assist with international flight reservations and extensions. Forrest Rowland has created an exclusive itinerary crafted especially for Cindy Goeddel Photography and will be our guide throughout the 17-day trip. We will also be utilizing the expertise of local guides at most locations. Price includes: All meals from dinner day 1 to lunch day 17. Bottled drinking water, all lodging, all ground transportation during the tour, all reserve and site entrance fees and all guiding services.
Tour Exclusions: VISA fees, any flights, beverages, gratuities, laundry or personal expenses.
Internal Flights within Colombia: 2 flights costing approximately $500.00 total. These flights will be booked by Rockjumper so we all travel together and the cost added to your final invoice.
The deposit is non-refundable, and we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
