Lunch on the Beach
Hallo Bay, a part of Katmai National Park, stretches for some 7 largely sandy miles at the base of the Aleutian volcanoes on the Pacific Coast. It it well known for brown bears. After digging for clams along the shore, this sow flopped down on the beach and patiently nursed her Spring cubs.
