The Fearless Beaver and The Patient Coyote.

This optimistic coyote stalked this large beaver one afternoon along the Yellowstone River in Hayden Valley.  The beaver completely ignored the coyote until the coyote was just a foot or two away.  Calmly, the beaver finally slid into the river.  The coyote then laid in wait by the vegetation the beaver had been dining on.  After several minutes the beaver just retrieved some more food from the river and came out very near the coyote and began dining again.   As the beaver was as large or perhaps ever larger than the coyote, the coyote eventually gave up and left the beaver in peace.
