Hitching a Ride, Red-billed Oxpecker
This colorful character eats ticks and flies from the bodies of mammals. The host animals are happy with the results, holding still while the bird greedily feeds. One oxpecker stomach held the remains of 250 adult and 1,400 larval ticks.
