African Wild Dog (African Painted Dog). Linyanti, Botswana. We were very fortunate to be able to spend time photographing a pack of these highly social and endangered canids. This pack consisted of 4 adults and 7 puppies. The total population is estimated between 7,000-8,000 animals in 750 packs.⠀
