Dance on the Yellowstone

Winter in Yellowstone National Park’s Hayden Valley ushers in more than sub-zero temperatures and deep snow. Trumpeter swans arrive, making their eponymous calls as they take off from on the open stretches of the Yellowstone River.  We spent a productive couple of hours photographing them Friday afternoon in January 2020.
