Sunrise at Soda Butte Creek

Sunrise at Soda Butte Creek

A solitary bull Bison covered in frost, looks up Soda Butte Creek at sunrise on a minus 35 degree January morning in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park.  It is rumored that Bison do not start to get cold until the temperature reaches minus 25 degrees ... perhaps this guy is warming himself by facing the sunrise.
